The options below are designed to take walkers through the skills needed to obtain the freedom of the Hills. It will cover Navigation Skills using map and compass in both good and bad visibility, planning and timing a route, emergency actions, access rights, conservation and Weather indicators.

Option 1 (2 Day) Ratio 1-6, Fee 120 pounds. For a group of between 7-12 people the fee is 200 pounds.
Includes two full days and some night work. This course is ideal for the walker who wants to learn to navigate and doesn't expect to be out in the dark or adverse conditions unless by accident. E.g. the active parent who navigates for the family and doesn't want to get lost.

Option 2 (3 Days and a possibility of a full night) Ratio 1-4, Fee 180 pounds. For a group of between 5-8 people the fee is 340 pounds.
More in depth and testing, it involves more nighttime and off path experience. This is intended for the more adventurous walker who will be out in dark or poor conditions by design. E.g. the mountain adventurer who likes to be off the beaten path and enjoy all conditions.
